To clear the browser cache in Firefox on Mac OS X, simply follow these instructions:
1. Click the menu button in the top right corner.
2. You’ll now be presented with a small pop-up type box with a few options. Click Preferences (as highlighted).
3. Click clear all current history (don’t worry, you won’t be clearing everything yet).
4. The final step is to select Cache from the tick list. You may also wish to clear other items, but in this case we’re mainly interested in clearing the cache. Once selected as shown in the below screenshot, click Clear Now.
